Mission
To promote mutually beneficial trade and investment between Malawi and the United States by connecting businesses, facilitating commercial opportunities, advocating for an enabling business environment and providing members with access to networks, information and strategic partnerships.
About Us
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) is a membership-based business organisation established to promote and strengthen commercial, investment and economic relations between the partner country, Malawi and the United States of America. AmCham will provide a platform through which businesses, investors, development partners and other stakeholders can connect, exchange information, identify commercial opportunities and engage on matters affecting trade and investment. The Chamber will bring together American companies operating or seeking opportunities in Malawi, Malawian companies with commercial interests in the United States, and other organisations that support increased bilateral trade and investment. AmCham will operate as an independent, non-profit, member-driven organisation.

Trade & Investment Facilitation
AmCham will connect businesses and investors between Malawi and the United States through introductions, investment forums, trade delegations, market-entry support and investment information.
Business Networking
The Chamber will organise regular networking opportunities including member meetings, business breakfasts, conferences, CEO roundtables, receptions and sector-specific events.
Advocacy & Policy Engagement
AmCham will provide a platform for members to discuss business challenges and advocate for policies that support investment, competitiveness and private-sector growth.
Business Information & Market Intelligence
Members will have access to relevant information on business opportunities, policy and regulatory developments, trade opportunities, investment trends and other developments affecting Malawi-US commercial relations.
